ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU SO MUCH.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteFor my Bearded Dragon cage, I used tile grout to coat the styrofoam. I bought a sand colored grout, so I didn’t need to paint it. Several thin coats should be enough, depending on what species the cage is for. A species that digs a lot would require a thicker layer of grout. After the grout was finished I applied a clear tile sealant to protect everything. There are a few build pics of my Bearded Dragon cage here: http://myinnergeekhasadd.blogspot.com/2011/02/bearded-dragon-cage.html I plan to do things a little different with the Ball Python cage. Because I will have several different colors in the cage, I plan to use mortar and then paint it the desired color. My progress will probably be slow, but check back as I intend to cover the process thoroughly.
